Solutionism
Solutionism is a short documentary about what design actually means, written and directed by Matt Legrand. In three compact minutes it connects cognitive thinking to the visual, cultural and political worlds that design shapes, and presents design as a conscious way of acting that anyone can bring to their own field and their own life.
The film was made in Boston in 2012 and screened through 2013 at the Cannes Court Métrage Short Film Corner, A Design Film Festival Singapore, the Milan Design Film Festival and five more festivals.
